SWEDISH MASSAGE

A technique of long relaxing strokes designed to reach the superficial muscle layer and connective tissues. Some benefits of a Swedish massage are increased blood flow, increased flexibility and reduced stress.

60 Minutes: $125

90 Minutes: $165

MANUAL LYMPHATIC MASSAGE

Also called Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a very light technique consisting of short gentle strokes. The goal is to redirect fluid or cellular waste that has become sluggish in certain areas of the body. Clients under cancer treatment (with a doctor’s release) can safely enjoy this work. Lymphatic drainage is great for everyone though often used to reduce swelling and pain from post surgical procedures such as orthopedic, cosmetic and reconstruction.

60 Minutes: $125

90 Minutes: $165

Please note: There are times when MLD will be combined with Swedish technique in a session. Each client and situation is different . No massage is ever the same.

WHAT TO EXPECT

All new clients please come a few minutes early to complete a short health intake form. This will ensure that you are able to enjoy every minute of your session on the table. Also, post surgery clients please bring or wear your compression garments to your appointments. All clients are expected to undress to their comfort level. Draping of the body is consistently used in our practice. Most importantly, remember to communicate any discomfort to your therapist. Please make sure you are drinking lots of water and are well hydrated.
